I guess there’s a lot to say.

It’ll be a quick recap though, and with some photos.I have been so busy since school has started back up. I have a part time job at the INTA office. I do random things around the office, from maintaining the school’s website to organizing boxes and files to speaking Japanese to doing my homework.

Hockey is my new favorite thing in the entire world. I love the Thrashers and have (in two game) become a pretty good fan, if I do say so myself. We had really, really good seats at the last game, when we played the Buffalo Sabres. We lost, but that was after overtime and penalty shots. It was an amazing game. I’m going again for the Florida game, and I’m pretty excited already.

We had amazing seats for the Sabres game!

P.S. I have auburn hair now, but it has started to lighten up. I’m not even sure if you can tell in this picture.

CCF went on a retreat to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This was my 2nd time there in 1 week because I drove up there the weekend before to film an announcement video about the retreat. By that I mean that we left Atlanta at 2 a.m. got to Gatlinburg around 6 a.m. filmed some stuff, drove back, took the wrong route and ended up in my hometown (go figure, I was driving), my mom bought us lunch, and then we ended up back in Atlanta around 2:30 p.m. No, I didn’t sleep during that. Anyway, the retreat was so much fun because it involves lots of mullets, ridiculous facial hair, high school letter jackets, cigar smoking, but most importantly, all of the other CCFs and SNOW! Yes, that’s right, kids! All of Team Thailand was together and there was SNOW! Could a weekend get any better than that? No, sir.

What a wonderful reunion!

Snow!

More snow!

I bought a (Product) Red shirt today. You should too. What else have I been up to? I’ve been applying for internships, spending time at CCF and tons of other things. I’m planning on going to Juarez, Mexico for spring break to build houses with Casas por Cristo. You should come with me. It’ll be really great. You know what’s really cool? It’s that Kristy and I have gotten to hang out and do things like go watch future doctors that also play instruments have a jazz concert at Emory University and then go to the Sundial bar at the Westin hotel. Good fun.

Alright, now that that’s done, hopefully I’ll be updating more often.

Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech

Published by Meagan under Georgia Tech

I am missing the greatest football moment of my life.

I am, however, in Thailand, and will be at the beach while everyone else is at the game.

Still, I love GT Football…

An Update

Published by Meagan under Georgia Tech

Concerning the yellow fever vaccination and the visa, I was able to find a clinic last week that sympathized with my troubles. I am now the proud recipient of a yellow fever vaccine, and by Friday I should have a Thai visa. It’s probably already ready; it’s just a matter of me getting to Atlanta to pick it up.

Concerning PURA, it’s almost finished. It’d be nice if I had a few more days to finish it in, but it looks like I have tomorrow and part of Friday.

On the subject of leaving in 4 days, it’s getting a little panicky and crazy. I’m incredibly excited, but I’m getting sad too. Prayers, please. I’m still nervous about flying.

I can’t believe Jill is in Italy with no computer! Jill, you have to stay in touch! I miss you!
